Michelle Keegan may still be wanted by ex-boyfriend Max George, but she has no plans of jumping straight into another relationship just yet.

The Coronation Street star was spotted hanging out with former flame Brad Howard just days ago at V Festival, in Staffordshire, prompting reports they were back together.

However, the 25-year-old is definitely not in the market for a boyfriend, old or new, and she was simply hanging out as friends with Brad.

A representative for Keegan told Mail Online: ‘Michelle and Brad are not dating. They are just friends and Michelle is completely single.’

The soap star, who once described Brad as ‘incredibly romantic’, was seen with a large group of friends in a VIP area of the festival along with her ex.

A source close to the pair told Mail Online: ‘Michelle and Brad are really good friends and it’s natural that they would be out together.

‘They move in the same circles, and they are from the same area of Manchester, so of course they are going to be hanging out occasionally.’

Brad, who is a former model and nightclub promoter, and Michelle dated for two years from 2008 until 2010.
They split up because their very busy and difficult work schedules made it almost impossible to spend quality time together.

Michelle tweeted today: ‘Surely people are gonna get bored of making up incorrect story’s about my life.Can’t get seen talking to any1 without speculation!

‘Whatever anyway, it’s just annoying that I have to put out a tweet to ‘put the story straight’ … How about u just don’t make things up?’

The Wanted’s Max George has reportedly been left devastated by the news after reports he was hoping for a reconciliation.

A source told the Mirror newspaper: ‘He’s gutted. She has got on with her life and left Max to pick up the pieces.’

Last week Michelle ruled out any chance of the former couple had when a friend told MailOnline: ‘Michelle is definitely not considering getting back together with Max. They haven’t been speaking every night, it’s definitely over.’
