‘Coronation Street’ leads the National Television Awards nominations.
The ITV1 soap has been shortlisted for Best Serial Drama at the 18th annual awards, with two nods for Best Serial Drama performance for Michelle Keegan and Alan Halsall, as well as Best Newcomer for Natalie Gumede.
Voting will continue during the live awards show on January 23 for the Serial Drama category – which is usually hotly contested between ‘Corrie’ and ‘EastEnders’, but Hollyoaks’ spectacular bus crash and ‘Emmerdale’s dramatic 40th anniversary episode could rock the vote this year.
Voting closes at midday on January 23. You can vote for your TV favourites at www.nationaltvawards.com.
