I finally updated and reorganized the photo category dedicated to the Coronation Street series.
I’ve added the missing screencaps of all the episodes Michelle participated in (the quality isn’t exceptional but it’s the best I’ve found, if anyone has the episodes in 720p or 1080p, I’m interested), as well as those of the documentary Farewell Tina broadcast after her departure. Some promotional photos have also been added. Enjoy!

Michelle Keegan looked gorgeous as she launched her latest collection with Very on Thursday. The Brassic actress was all about bright colours and the summer sunshine as she posed in different outfits from the collection. Many of the clothing products include chic dresses that are perfect for transitioning from summer days to cooler summer evenings.

In one picture, Michelle posed with her hand on her hip as she rocked a blue form-fitting minidress emblazoned in white flowers. The dress is sleeveless on one side. Another stunning picture had her posing in a green and pink patterned co-ord outfit. The top is a button-up and long-sleeved while the skirt is fairly form-fitting. Michelle also posed in a summery pink maxi dress. In the snap, she leaned against the blue wall and gazed off camera.

Former Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan got her sweat on in a sports bra and leggings for an advert with collagen brand Vital Proteins – which she’s now an ambassador of.

Michelle Keegan released her gym-honed physique in a new advert for Vital Proteins – her “favourite collagen brand”. The former Corrie actress has been hailed the world’s ‘most beautiful woman’ by her legions of fans – so it’s no surprise she got a starring role in a new advert for Vital Proteins. 35-year-old Michelle could be seen stretching out in a new advert for the collagen brand, which she was thrilled to announce she’s just become a brand ambassador for. The stunning star showed off her toned tummy in a nude sports bra, which she matched with a pair of tight navy leggings down below.

The Yorkshire beauty oozed glamour as she spoke about her wellness routine in the advert, which featured montage clips of her stretching on a mat and using the protein product. Michelle looked sensational in the video, which aimed to highlght her glowing skin as a result of using the skincare product. In the video, she said: “What keeps me vital? Movement, rest, looking after myself, and Vital Proteins. It’s about a 360 approach to my body and mind. What keeps you vital?”

Taking to Instagram, Michelle was delighted to reveal she’d partnered up with the company – and that she’d become an ambassador. She wrote: “I’m so excited to announce that I’m now a @vitalproteins.uk ambassador! I’m really happy to be partnering with my favourite collagen brand that has been a staple part of my everyday routine for so long now! So happy to be a part of the Vital family”. Vital Proteins replied: “Welcome to the Vital family!”

Michelle’s fans were delighted for the actress, and many fawned over her effortless beauty. One wrote: “Proud of you everyday”, whilst another said: “This is the best!!! I love this product”. Another gushed: “Congratulations Michelle!” Michelle isn’t the only famous fan of the product as Friends star Jennifer Aniston loves taking it daily. The actress has since become the Chief Creative Officer for the company.

Michelle Keegan finally unveiled her stunning new multi-way swimwear range on Monday following two years of hard work.

The 35-year-old took to her Instagram page to announce the official launch of her brand, Orfila Bee. She announced the news with a slew of stunning bikini pictures giving fans a glimpse of her contemporary collection. In one photo, Michelle donned a white bandeau bikini which she paired with a black fedora and a simple coin pendant. Channelling her inner beach babe, she styled her chestnut hair in sultry waves and kept her make-up low-key.

Her fans were quick to share their excitement, with one adding: “The meaning behind the name, incredible! Love the whole range xxx”. Another added: “LOVE everything about this!!! Congratulations ladies! They look stunning!” A third remarked: “Your grandma will be incredibly proud and it’s such a nice tribute to her”.

The brand promises to ‘celebrate the female form using luxe fabrics and flattering silhouettes’. In a bid to re-imagine traditional beachwear, Michelle has created statement pieces that can be worn in a variety of ways to accentuate different features regardless of body type.

She’s come a long way since leaving the Coronation Street cobbles, with roles in everything from Our Girl to Brassic. But Michelle Keegan has taken her biggest leap yet for her next role — quite literally. She’s flown 10,000 miles to Australia to film a new BBC drama from the team behind Netflix’s raunchy Sex Education.

The six-part series, Ten Pound Poms, follows a group of British emigrees as they leave dreary post-war Britain in 1956 to embark on a life-altering adventure on the other side of the world. And the role will let Michelle tick off one of the jobs on her bucket list. A friend of Michelle’s told me: “Michelle has always had one big dream, which is appearing in a period drama and Ten Pound Poms will let her dip her toe in those past times”.

Danny Brocklehurst, Michelle’s boss on Sky Max’s Brassic and BBC One’s Ordinary Lies, is behind the show. He said: “It is a big, bold character piece about what it means to start again, to be an outsider in a new land. It asks questions about success and failure, identity, parenthood and belonging. The assisted migration programme is a little-known part of British and Australian history but offers endless stories about the people who travelled to the other side of the world in search of a better life”.

The show will expose Michelle to a whole new audience as Ten Pound Poms will air in Australia too. But there’s just one problem — it will mean being away from husband Mark Wright for months.

Actress Michelle Keegan has great style, as you can tell from a quick scroll through her Instagram – so it’s no wonder online clothing brand Very work with her regularly on clothing edits.

The latest collection for spring/summer 2022 dropped just today, so we caught up with the Our Girl star to chat all things fashion.

Hi Michelle! What is it that you love about your latest Very edit?
The collection is really bright and vibrant. My Very edits are always really personal; it’s what I like to wear, so I’ve always got something to wear out with the girls!

Which pieces have you been living in?
There’s a few midi dresses I’m wearing with flats in the daytime. A flowing midi dress is my go-to dress style and there’s a high-neck red and pink one in the collection that I love. That and the white [broderie anglaise] one with cut-out sides are my favourite dresses.
There’s also these hot pink wide-leg trousers that the stylist teamed with a pink and peach crochet top. I would never have put them together but it just looks so cool and I think that’s my favourite look of the whole collection.

Which spring/summer 2022 trends are you a fan of at the moment?
For me, it’s bold colours. In lockdown and through winter everything felt quite muted, but now the sun’s out and we can go out and wear bright colours, that’s really fun. It puts me in a better mood.

What do you wear when you’re at home?
If I’m working, my go-to is a tracksuit or gymwear; I’m up quite early so something easy that I can stick on and feel comfortable in. It’s very rare that I’m glam – in summer it’s a throw-on maxi dress with no makeup and my hair shoved up.

Do you have a styling trick for days when you feel a bit ‘meh’?
It’s not really a styling trick but washing my hair always makes me feel better. And slouchy clothes can make me feel a bit ‘eurgh’, so to perk myself up I’ll get dressed properly in high-waisted jeans and a vest – still casual, but it’s not the loungewear I sit on the couch and watch Netflix in.

What’s your go-to holiday look?
It’s a different kind of heat when you’re abroad so I just want to wear things that I can feel comfortable in. I don’t like wearing restrictive or tight clothes on holiday, I tend to keep things casual. I gravitate towards pastels like mint and peach a lot and I love wearing crisp white when on holiday.

Do you have any nifty suitcase packing tips that you swear by?
My friend who’s a stylist taught me this one. Say if I’m going away for seven days, I lay out seven day outfits, with the shoes, accessories and everything, and then I do the same for my night outfits. I take pictures of each whole look and then pack it in order of Monday outfit, Tuesday outfit etc.

What’s your most prized possession?
My most prized possession would have to be the first designer handbag I ever bought. I used to work in Selfridges and, as I walked through the handbag department to go for lunch each day, I would try on all the bags. So when I got my first pay check from Corrie, I went back to Selfridges and bought myself a Chloé bag. I didn’t go classic, I went for bright purple and it’s 16 years old now so it’s so out of date, but it’s got a lot of sentimental value to it.

If your wardrobe was on fire, which three pieces would you save?
Definitely the Chloé bag. I would also save my wedding shoes. I was obsessed with them – they’re metallic Terry de Havilland platforms and on the bottom of the sole is my initials in crystals.
I’d also save my prom dress. I was obsessed with Friends growing up (and I still am, my dog is named after Phoebe) and I was in love with that pastel green dress that Rachel wears [in series 3, episode 13 ‘The One Where No One’s Ready’]. I found a really similar mint green dress with spaghetti straps for my prom and I’ve still got it now in my memory box. It’s simple, classic and timeless – if I could fit in it now I would still wear it.

Of all the characters you’ve played on screen, whose wardrobe have you wanted to steal the most?
I’d steal Tina Moore’s wardrobe from when I played her in Tina & Bobby. In eight weeks of filming we went through three decades, the 60s, 70s and 80s, and seeing how fashion evolved through the years was amazing. I remember thinking how lucky I was to wear these beautiful vintage pieces.
The outfit I loved wearing the most was the yellow Chanel suit I wore to shoot the 1966 World Cup scenes. I remember Tina telling me about it and how she couldn’t believe she was wearing something so glamorous.

Michelle Keegan is expected to take a break from acting when Brassic filming comes to an end this week.

The 34-year-old, who plays Erin Croft in the hit Sky show, has just shot seasons three and four back to back and will now be taking time out before starting her next project.

A source said: “Michelle is one of the hardest working actresses in the country. She has been non-stop over the last year and hasn’t really had a breather. It hasn’t been easy filming during covid times, there have been lots of stops and starts so everything has taken longer. She barely had any time off after Our Girl before she started Brassic, but is expected to take a little step back before she announces her next big project. She just hasn’t decided how long for yet”.

Michelle, who is married to Mark Wright, has been travelling back and forth between Manchester for filming and London, where the couple have been living in a hotel as they wait for work to be completed on their £1.3 million mansion. The pair, who tied the knot in 2015, have often been forced to spend time apart due to their various work commitments, including Mark’s stint working in LA.

The source added: “It will be a great chance for them to enjoy the new home together. Both Mark’s brother Josh and sister Jess are expecting their first children, so it’s the perfect time to concentrate on family for a bit”. Mark recently told how they are both looking forward to playing hosts in their new home. He said: “Me and my wife do like entertaining. We’re definitely excited about entertaining our family and friends there. It’s not going to become a party destination because it’s our home, but family barbecues and entertainment moments, for sure”.

Michelle previously admitted that their families have stopped asking her and Mark about having kids. She explained: “Not anymore! People don’t mean any harm by it, but they know what the answer’s going to be”.

Michelle rose to fame in 2008 when she landed the part of Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street. The star, who was crowned sexiest soap actress six years on the trot, left the soap in 2014 when a dramatic story-line saw her being killed off after being pushed off a balcony. Shortly after she landed a part in BBC drama series Ordinary Lies with Jason Manford and then joined the cast of Plebs. The star then went on to wow audiences in 2016 in Our Girl, playing medic Georgie for three series. In 2017 Michelle continued to impress by playing Tina Dean in the ITV drama series Tina and Bobby, based on her relationship with West Ham and England footballer, Bobby Moore.

The Sun approached Michelle’s rep for comment.

The return of Sky original Brassic to Sky One and streaming service NOW TV has seen enthusiastic fans bingeing the entire series as a box set in record time for the broadcaster. To date, the new series has seen 5.9 million requested downloads.

The second series launched with a seven-day cumulative audience of 1.51 million for the opening episode, with more than 800,000 viewers completing the box set within the first fortnight of launch. Newcomers to Brassic also caught up on the mad-cap world of Vinnie (Joe Gilgun) and his unlikely gang of loveable Lancastrian rogues by binging on series one, with a further 2.8 million downloads.

The series, which is co-created by Joseph Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst, received widespread critical acclaim (see below) and Danny has been recognised for his writing with a 2020 BAFTA TV Awards nomination.

The cliff-hanger ending of Brassic 2 saw Vinnie finally admit his feelings for Erin (Michelle Keegan) before being apprehended by the police after raucous stag and hen dos and the theft of an entire wedding reception. The third series is set to start production later this year.

Jon Mountague, Director of Comedy, Sky Studios, said: “What a thrill to see record numbers of our customers enjoy Brassic in super quick time. It’s captured the imagination of fans, including England cricket vice-captain Ben Stokes who tweeted his love for the show. The combination of brilliantly honest writing and an outstanding cast have left them hungry for more – roll on season 3!”

Brassic 2 is one of the latest in a run of Sky original comedies launching on Sky One with audiences of more than one million – including Avenue 5 (starring Hugh Laurie, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Rebecca Front), Intelligence (with Nick Mohammed and David Schwimmer), Breeders (Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard), Hitmen (Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins) and Code 404 (Daniel Mays, Stephen Graham and Anna Maxwell Martin). And Sky original comedy In the Long Run, created by and starring Idris Elba, which returns for a third series on Wednesday 22nd July.

The comedy was produced by Calamity Films. It is executive produced by David Livingstone for Calamity Films and Jon Mountague for Sky. Joseph Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst are also executive producers with Mike Noble as series producer. Directors Saul Metzstein (Block 1) and Jon Wright (Block 2). The series was commissioned by Jon Mountague, Director of Comedy at Sky Studios and Zai Bennett, MD of Content at Sky UK & Ireland.

The actress is set to leave the role of Georgie Lane after four years in order to pursue new roles, with her Sky comedy Brassic already being cleared for a season three before season two even launches. But despite her previously saying that she wouldn’t be up for joining the dance competition, bookies are now reckoning that she could be on the line-up – and is now even a 3-1 fave.

‘Michelle Keegan is very popular and we think she would be a big hit on Strictly where many punters are backing her to appear on the show this year,’ said Coral’s John Hill.

She’s also 7-1 with the bookmakers to lift the glitterball trophy if she were to compete. The new odds come despite Michelle’s husband Mark Wright saying that she has too much anxiety to ever do Strictly, after he took part in it himself back in 2014.

‘I mean never say never. I just think her nerves would go to another level, she gets quite nervous,’ he explained to Metro.co.uk. ‘I mean I do, [but] I’m a bit more like, “Come on, let’s just have it.” Whenever she watches me or when I’ve sent her the dance before she’s like, “I don’t know how you do it!”’

Rumours that the Strictly team want to sign up Michelle have been rife for years, but she’s never made it to the ballroom floor.

Gritty comedy Brassic is to return to Sky and NOW TV for a third series. The news has been confirmed before the second series has been transmitted.

Sky’s most successful comedy drama in years will be back with its trademark mix of the hilarious, ridiculous and deeply poignant. Co-created by Joseph Gilgun and BAFTA-winning writer Danny Brocklehurst, the series  stars Joseph Gilgun, Michelle Keegan and Damien Molony.

Danny Brocklehurst, co-creator and writer said: “I couldn’t be more thrilled to be doing a third series of Brassic, the response to series one was overwhelming as people took our gang of potty mouthed misfits to their heart. Sky has been truly amazing in its love and support and I can’t thank them enough for allowing us to go again.”

Joseph Gilgun, co-creator, said: “I’m so grateful to everyone involved in the making of Brassic season 1 and 2, they’re some of the kindest and most resilient people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Each and every one of them friends. Also the public played a huge role, it’s very relieving to know your life story isn’t incredibly boring. I want to thank my close friends and colleagues and the creative team; David Livingstone, Danny Brocklehurst, Emily Bray and Dave Quayle. As for Sky, I couldn’t imagine making it with any other channel. Big loves Monty and Bennett!”

Brassic 3 was commissioned by Jon Mountague, Sky Studios’ Director of Comedy and Zai Bennett, Sky’s Managing Director of Content, and will be produced by Calamity Films. It is executive produced by David Livingstone for Calamity Films and Jon Mountague for Sky Studios. Joseph Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst are also executive producers. The series will be distributed internationally by ITV Studios.

The ex-Coronation Street star, 32, will bow out of the hit show, which sees her play British Army medic Georgie Lane, with a final series later this year.

The Stockport-born actress has left in a bid to pursue new acting jobs and plans to spend more time at home in the UK after her husband Mark Wright, also 32, moved back from Los Angeles last year, where he was working on US TV.

She had previously spent several months each year filming in far-flung locations including South Africa, Nepal and Malaysia.

Michelle told the Sun: “I’ve had the most incredible four years on the show and I want to thank the BBC for giving me such an amazing opportunity.

“Playing Georgie has been a life changing role for me. I’ve loved every second of the adventure so it was a very hard decision to make not to return. I feel it is the right time to explore other exciting opportunities but I’m so happy to be part of the new series coming soon so it’s not the end just yet.”

Producers are currently looking for another female to play the lead in the hit series, which starred former EastEnders actress Lacey Turner, 31, for its first run in 2014.

Michelle spent much of last year shooting her third series of the drama and more recently has shot a second series of Sky1 comedy Brassic and continued her lucrative clothing deal with online retailer Very.

The actress, who wed telly host Mark in 2015, will now be freed up to spend more time near their home in Essex.

But last year she revealed she was sick of “everybody’s obsession” with her becoming a mum in the near future, including from her friends and family.

She said: “It’s horrible. It’s like, ‘You’re 32. Are you not planning to have a baby yet?’

“They don’t know the background of what’s happening. It’s no one else’s business. In this day and age you shouldn’t ask questions like that.

“I get so frustrated. I’m asked purely because I’m a woman. But I’m immune to it now — it’s like a reaction and as soon as I hear it I brush it off, as it’s no one else’s business.”

She’s spent much of 2018 in LA with husband Mark Wright, but what’s next for Michelle Keegan? A permanent move to the US, perhaps? Look’s Lucy Devine finds out…

Who would Michelle Keegan like to be for 24 hours? Meghan Markle. What did she love about attending the Oscars after-party earlier this year? The free bar. Why does she wear hats on planes? She can’t be bothered to do her hair. We love chatting to Michelle. Not because this writer is also from Manchester (OK, that’s a big part of it) but because she’s honest, hilarious and if her story about a week in Ibiza with her mates is anything to go by, she really is all of us (more on that later).

LA life suits Michelle. She looks happier than we’ve ever seen her – a combination of having the flexibility to work out more, the freedom to travel back and forth between the UK and the States and of course, being able to spend time with husband, Mark Wright, 31.

Catching up with the 30-year-old for the launch of her latest Michelle Keegan for Very.co.uk collection, the actress is telling us all about her summer plans, whether she’s setting up home across the pond with Mark, and reveals the beauty buys she always takes on holiday…

We love the new Very collection, what’s your fave piece?
It’s hard, I’m always changing my mind, but I love the red and white striped dress. It looks so cool. The polka-dot dress, too. Wearing that to a wedding would look amazing.

What are your essential holiday beauty products?
An Elemis cleanser, and Rodial’s Rose Gold Moisturiser, as well as their Rose Gold Serum – it just gives your face a really nice dewy look. I’m not an ambassador for them or anything [laughs], they’re just amazing. I always take a Laura Mercier Soufflé Body Crème, too – they smell so nice and make your skin glowy with a bit of a shimmer.

What’s your airport uniform?
I need to be comfortable, and I’m not the kind to get changed on the plane because I can’t be bothered with that, so I’ll wear leggings or comfy trousers with a vest underneath and a jumper. A comfy bra, always, and a hat as I don’t want to be doing my hair.

Did you ever do the classic girls’ holiday when you were younger?
Oh yeah! I went to Ibiza with the girls when I was 17 – we still talk about it even now. We went to a beach and the cocktails were really expensive, so we just nipped to a corner shop and bought a bottle of Lambrini each – a litre – and took them on the beach. Straight out of the bottle, not even a straw. And last year, we all went to Magaluf for my birthday [laughs].

You’ve been back and forth to LA. Are you and Mark planning on staying there longer?
Mark’s contract is in LA – for now – but he’s coming back in May, because he’s covering the royal wedding for a few weeks, so we’ve got a bit of normalityat home. Then in June, we’ve got his brother’s wedding in Majorca, and then he’s going back to LA and I’ll probably go with him. At the minute, it’s good because we’re just seeing what happens, we’re not planning anything. Mark loves it out there and I can pick and choose. I can go out and see him for a month instead of thinking I couldn’t even see him for a weekend.

Are you enjoying it out there?
Yeah, it’s great for me. Last year, I couldn’t work out because of my job. Now, it’s like a retreat. Mark goes to work, I go to the gym, do a bit of yoga, have a healthy breakfast.

What’s the best party you’ve been to recently?
The Oscars party this year, held at the Beverly Wilshire. I was able to take my dad and stepmum with Mark, too. Jamie Foxx was there and Katy Perry – it was a pinch myself moment and my dad absolutely loved it. Free bar, too!

If you could swap lives with someone for a day, who’d it be?
Meghan Markle. Especially now she’s getting married – I want to see what she will be wearing, what they are planning on the day and what food they’ve chosen.

You could swap on the actual wedding day…
Yeah, I could! Princess for the day [laughs].

STRICTLY Come Dancing chiefs are ready to “break the bank” to sign up Michelle Keegan for this year’s show.

They have a hit-list of celebrities they want to see strutting their stuff on the dance floor this autumn. And former Coronation Street actress Michelle, 30, is a top target. They are so determined to get her that insiders say they are prepared to spend more than ever. A source for the show said: “Everyone knows that having Michelle Keegan out on the Strictly dance floor would be ratings gold. She has a huge and loyal fanbase, but more importantly to bosses they know her supporters are young. That’s a demographic that they are desperate to attract to the show and something they are willing to break the bank for. And, of course, all the male professional dancers would be desperate to be paired with Michelle. Everyone behind the scenes thinks she would set the dance floor alight. It’s now a matter of convincing her to sign up.”

But Strictly chiefs could face a tough battle because Michelle has previously warned she couldn’t cope with the stress of dancing live in front of the nation every Saturday night. Her husband Mark Wright, 31, competed on the show in 2014 and made it all the way to the final with Karen Clifton, right. That gave Michelle a taste of what it’s like to compete for the famous glitterball trophy. Asked if she would be following in his footsteps after his stint on the show, she said: “It was so horrible watching Mark! Mark’s a more confident person than me. I remember seeing how nervous he was and thinking, ‘If he’s like that, I just couldn’t do it’.” But the Our Girl star also says she can’t “ever rule the show out”, giving bosses a chance at persuading her to sign up. Michelle Keegan is already a star in the UK, but it appears she’s breaking the showbiz realm Stateside too.

Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright – who got hitched in 2015 – have been spending their time in Los Angeles after Mark landed himself the opportunity of a lifetime. The former TOWIE cast member moved to Hollywood in 2017 after becoming a TV presenter on entertainment programme Extra. It is believed the genetically-blessed couple could make their move permanent after they were recently spotted house-hunting in the Hollywood Hills.

The 30-year-old gave the game away that she too was set to make it big in America like her hubby in a post shared to Michelle Keegan’s Instagram. Dressed in a pair of checked trousers, a knit top and sunglasses Michelle beamed away from the camera. Michelle fuelled speculation and captioned the image: “What an exciting 1st day!” before adding the video camera and action board emojis.
Michelle’s first big acting gig was on Coronation Street back in 2008. The bombshell beat around 900 people for the part of Tina McIntyre, who was killed off in 2014. Since leaving the role Michelle’s career has only gone from strength to strength. Michelle has starred in Our Girl, Plebs and ITV drama series Tina and Bobby, based on the relationship of footballer Bobby Moore and his wife Tina Dean.

She hasn’t made a secret of her desire to transition to more Hollywood roles and now has an agent based in LA. “I’ve been spending some time in Los Angeles with Mark and it’s so nice to have some time together,” she admitted to Now Magazine. “My US agent is in LA too, so I’ve had a few meetings set up over there.”

Michelle Keegan has revealed she is looking for work in Hollywood so that she can be closer to husband Mark Wright.

The Our Girl actress jetted off to LA with her other half after Christmas and is keen to find her next job in the US, after years spent on British television.

The duo spent eight months apart last year while Keegan filmed the BBC drama, so now the 30-year-old soap actress is looking for acting work in La La Land.

Speaking to Now magazine, she said: “I’ve been spending some time in Los Angeles with Mark and it’s so nice to have some time together.

“My US agent is in LA too, so I’ve had a few meetings set up over there.”

Wright recently hinted that Keegan could be moving to LA full time in an interview.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Wright suggested Keegan might be heading to America permanently, as Hollywood is “every actress’s dream”.

He said: “We’ll see what happens. I think if you’re an actress you want to come to Hollywood, right?

Wright added that the couple are “enjoying the sunshine” and just “see how we go”.

We left Georgie in Somalia at the end of season two. What’s happened since and has anything changed?
This season we pick up with Georgie at home with her friends and family, and she gets a call from Captain James asking her to come out to Nepal for a NGO relief mission. She’s still independent, not with Elvis, putting her career first and loving being in the Army.

What about Jamie?
Unfortunately there’s no news of Jamie! He’s probably settled down, got married and still a doctor!

Have you had to go to Bootcamp for this series?
Yes we did Bootcamp just like last year and we did it in Sandhurst and South Africa. We work alongside people who are in the Army and it’s about getting us in the mind-set of being back in the Army, running drills, how to hold a weapon, discipline, all about your kit and a lot of medical skills. I’ve learnt so much. I know how to use a tourniquet, a bandage, I know how to stitch, how to do CPR and a lot of technical bits too.

What’s the shooting schedule been like for a commission of 12 episodes?
I have been filming since end of April and we had Bootcamp the week before that. We filmed in Nepal for two weeks, then to South Africa until end of July. Then we flew to Malaysia for the next mission so it’s a long shooting schedule!

What’s been your favourite scene to shoot in the new series?
My favourite scene so far has been a bust up with Georgie and Elvis; we have a row where there’s a lot of frustration and a lot of jealousy but the love is still there. It was a great scene to film.

There’s a new member of 2-Section, Maisie. What can you tell us about her?
Maisie is very strong natured and it’s very challenging for Georgie as she’s her mentor. She has to look after her and keep her in check but Maisie is a bit of a rebel. At the end of the last episode they do come together as a team and it’s a bit of girl power. They are a strong force to be reckoned with.

The finale of this series is big. What was it like to film?
Filming the last episode was epic.

How would you describe Georgie in three words?
Strong, independent and a romantic.

Do you think you and Georgie would be friends in real life?
I do think we’d be friends in real life, I think she’s a girl’s girl. She’s not afraid to speak her mind and I love her attitude. She looks after number one but also looks after everyone else.

What have been the challenges from this block? Have you had any injuries from any of the stunts this mission?
It’s been a lot more physically demanding than the first one, definitely. There are a lot more stunts involved, more Army-based scenes and a lot more running which I’m not very good at! I’ve had to learn how to run like I’m in the Army – nightmare!

When we join Georgie in episode one, how does she feel about Elvis?
We join Georgie and Elvis in episode one in Syria where they left things on an even keel. They are work colleagues but there is still love there. Georgie still believes they can’t be together but Elvis still tries his luck a couple of times. Obviously Elvis is a ladies’ man but she does find out a few things she doesn’t like. She tries to be professional but deep down I think she’s genuinely hurt.

Have you picked up any bruises from filming?
I’ve been covered in bruises!

Finally, have you bought any comfort items with you from home for the long shoot?
I wanted to feel at home so I’ve brought Yorkshire Tea Bags in my suitcase, as well as my slippers!

Our Girl actress is set to play the iconic character alongside Phillip Schofield and Ant and Dec.

Fresh from her role in period drama Tina and Bobby, Michelle Keegan is set to play yet another strong female. The star will don the iconic hair buns and play Star Wars favourite Princess Leia, a role made famous by the late Carrie Fisher. However, she hasn’t landed a part in the new Star Wars remakes, she’s set to star in a new ITV parody. The Keith and Paddy Picture Show will see celebrities join Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness as they recreate their favourite films for a new comedy series.

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi will be one of the last spoofs of the five part series and it’s set to be a star-studded affair. Joining Michelle, Keith and Paddy for the show will be Phillip Schofield as Yoda, and David Dickinson as The Emperor.

Ant and Dec will be Ewoks, while Jeremy Kyle will play himself. Speaking about her brand new role, Mark Wright’s wife said: “I’m excited to be part of this new show with Keith and Paddy and thrilled to be taking on the iconic role of Princess Leia, a strong, female heroine and all round Star Wars legend. “I had so much fun and we had such a laugh filming that I can’t wait for everyone to see the final result.”

The series will also see classic 80’s movie Ghostbusters be remade for viewing pleasure.

The Our Girl actress has admitted that she’s just not confident wearing bright colours, we’re not quite sure we believe her, but we’re going with it anyway.
Mark Wright’s wife has opened up in an exclusive interview with OK! Online as she launches her latest collection with Lipsy, where she also discussed the pressure of the fashion industry.
The spring summer 2017 range is a little different to what we are used to, boasting ruffles, florals and embroidery with a predominantly pastel palette.
Here’s our exclusive interview with the 29 year old as her SS17 collection officially drops online…

Congratulations on another collection! How have you made this one even better than the others?
I think this collection in particular looks our best one yet. Every time I work on a new collection I feel like we come up with something so fresh and on trend, but yet the pieces are always so easy to wear. The sherbet pastel tones and subtle tonal embroideries are especially beautiful in my opinion.

Your style is talked about SO much. Do you ever feel pressure and how do you cope with that?
I don’t feel pressure at all really. I don’t think anyone should feel pressure, everyone should dress how you want, and what you feel comfortable in.

With spring just around the corner what can we expect to see you in and why do you love it so much?
My personal favourite piece that I am dying to wear is the oriental embroidered bandeau dress in the mint colour. It is such a stunning fabric and love the bandeau neckline for SS17.

You’ve been experimenting with your hair and style a lot recently, what trend are you too scared to try?
I am not very confident wearing bright colours, or statement outfits. I usually wear more classic outfits.

You shot your new Lipsy line in LA. How much did you love the place and what’s your top tips?
Take trainers. There is a lot of walking. Also get a good moisturiser with a SPF in it, because the sun is always shining in LA.

Having your own fashion collection has its perks – and for Michelle Keegan, one of the biggest perks is jetting to Hollywood to shoot the photos for her new campaign! The stunning actress has spent almost three years at the helm of her own Lipsy fashion line, and this week Michelle is back with even more style inspiration for spring-summer. The Our Girl star chatted to HELLO! ahead of the launch of her latest collection, revealing the trends she’s championing for the new season and her highlights of her trip to Los Angeles.

We love the white off-the-shoulder lacy number in one of our exclusive images. What do you think of this top, and when/ how would you wear it?
I really love the off the shoulder look right now, especially for spring summer with a tan. The fabric is so gorgeous and feminine – I love the 3D detailing and sheer sleeves, it’s just so flattering. I think it’s cute with light coloured ankle grazer jeans to wear in the day with jewelled sandals for brunch with the girls.

What are the top trends you’ve incorporated into this collection?
I always make sure that I incorporate the trends that suit my customer best, keeping everything feminine and soft but with key trend details mixed in. Oriental florals were a big influence, they’re delicate, girly and so easy to wear – I think our girl will really love them. I’m a big fan of all the sherbet pastel tones in this collection too, they’re just so fresh and fun for spring summer.

What accessories complete a spring/ summer outfit? Why?
You always need a good pair of sunnies! Pick a pair that suits your face shape and they’ll look good with every outfit. Right now I’m loving metal framed sunglasses like the Lipsy ones I wore in the photoshoot. They’re just the perfect finishing piece for pulled together style. For more dressed up looks, my go to accessory is a sparkly clutch bag, they add a touch of elegance and they work for every occasion from date nights to weddings.

What was it like shooting this collection in LA?
Amazing. I really, really enjoyed it, I had such a great time. It is one of my favourite places to go. There’s just something in the air out there, you literally feel like you’re in a movie. Also, shooting in a 1950s Beverly Hills cliff top mansion felt like I was stepping right back into old school Hollywood glamour.

Do you think people dress differently out there?
I think they are more casual in the day. They lead a healthy lifestyle out there, so a lot of people wear gym gear throughout the whole day, and then dress up in the evening. So it is very casual cool sporty outfits.

What do you love about the way women in LA dress?
Everything is very stripped back, especially in the day. I love how they can wear gym wear and trainers to work. I also love how a lot of girls don’t wear a lot of make-up. They all have beautiful glowing skin because of all the sunshine in LA. Everyone looks very fresh and stripped back.

What do you like most about the lifestyle out there?
It is very positive. Everyone seems very happy and it is a very healthy lifestyle. I think that must have something to do with the weather too!

What’s your favourite place in LA and did you get to go there during this Lipsy trip?
I like Rodeo Drive, just because one of my favourite films is Pretty Women. I love Julia Roberts, so I loved walking down that street and going to see the Beverly Wiltshire. I also loved going for brunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel, which has a lot of history surrounding Hollywood.

What are your plans for spring/ summer – do you have any holidays lined up?
Well, around that time I will be filming Our Girl, which is so exciting, but no holidays planned yet!

The five-part drama, inspired by musician PJ Harvey’s Kosovan notebooks, was written by Fin Kennedy and is told over a week in January 2017.

On Kosovo Field is a new drama written by Fin Kennedy that grew out of the body of work created by PJ Harvey on and after a journey to Kosovo, told over five episodes this January and featuring unreleased song demos from the musician woven through. It stars Michelle Keegan (Our Girl) and Nico Mirallegro (Rillington Place, Common).

Harvey’s latest album The Hope Six Demolition Project and her book of poetry The Hollow Of The Hand draws from several journeys undertaken by Harvey over a four-year period from 2011-2014; one of those journeys was to Kosovo. The inspiration and starting point for the drama came from Harvey’s notepads from her trip to Kosovo, her poetry and song lyrics and her Kosovan song demos.

BBC Radio Producer Nadia Molinari and writer Fin Kennedy used the materials to develop a drama about two Kosovan siblings and their journey.

Commenting on her process of gathering materials during her trips, PJ Harvey has said: “When I’m writing a song I visualise the entire scene. I can see the colours, I can tell the time of day, I can sense the mood, I can see the light changing, the shadows moving, everything in that picture. Gathering information from secondary sources felt too far removed for what I was trying to write about. I wanted to smell the air, feel the soil and meet the people of the countries I was fascinated with.”

Writer Fin Kennedy’s starting point was Harvey’s rich material, and the images from the songs and poems are weaved through the drama as well as the song demos themselves. Kennedy and producer Nadia Molinari also travelled to Kosovo, where they retraced some of Harvey’s steps and also spent time talking to journalists, politicians and human rights activists currently working on conflict resolution and reconciliation in Kosovo.

On Kosovo Field is the search for an identity via a road trip back through a lost heritage. The two central characters are two Kosovan-born siblings Rebeka (played by Michelle Keegan) and her younger brother Dardan (played by Nico Mirallegro) who were brought to Manchester as unaccompanied minors under a special evacuation programme during the conflict in 1999. The siblings, now adults, return to Kosovo after a mass grave is discovered close to their native village.

They discover a young nation striving to forge a path for hope and reconciliation and realise that they too must journey into their past to move on. They carry a set of keys, given to them by a neighbour before they left, offering the chance to unlock their home and, with it, their memories. They are forced to confront the painful truth of what happened to their parents.

Writer Fin Kennedy says: “The ‘play cycle’ as an idea takes its inspiration from the traditional song cycles of the Albania/Kosovo region. By the end of the cycle we come to understand that the siblings are a metaphor for Kosovo itself, the newest country in Europe, poignantly searching for an identity after centuries of conflict.”

Jeremy Howe, Radio 4 Commissioning Editor for Drama, says: “Seventeen years ago Kosovo, a place that few of us had ever heard of, was all over the headlines, then the news juggernaut moved on and the place was forgotten. On Kosovo Field shows how drama can get underneath the news headlines and explore with real emotional depth how the politics we hear about in the news, the war that is glimpsed in thirty second bulletins, affects real people.”

On Kosovo Field is broadcast on Radio 4 Monday 9 – Friday 13 January at 10.45am and the five episodes are repeated each day at 7.45pm. It’s produced by Nadia Molinari, BBC Radio Productions and written by Fin Kennedy.

The actress plays army medic Georgie Lane on the war-based series, and t’s been quit the series for the character.
Taking to Instagram following the tense final episode of series two, Michelle confessed filming had been one of the “most incredible experiences of her life”. Praising her “amazing” cast, Michelle admitted she felt “emotional” as she confirmed that the show would be back and so would she.
She wrote alongside a snap of her in uniform: “Well that’s an official wrap. One of the most incredible experiences of my life. Thank you so much for your amazing support I feel so emotional right now. Thank you also to the amazing people who I was lucky enough to work with on this special project. #OurGirl2016 @bbcone.” The actress posted a series of snaps in the lead up to the final of her time away filming in Kenya. At the end of last night’s episode, Corporal Georgie headed off to Syria for her next army tour, and it has now been confirmed that another series is on the way.

BBC One confirmed the news on Twitter after the end of last night’s big episode, which saw Georgie in danger once again at the hands of terrorist Abu. The account posted: “We’re delighted to announce tha #OurGirl will return to @BBCOne for a third series, starring @michkeegan as Georgie Lane.” Michelle’s character had spent the whole series choosing between Luke Pasqualino’s character Elvis and Jamie (Royce Pierrson). And the final episode left viewers disappointed, as the army girl chose to marry neither and go it alone. It finished with a voiceover from Michelle saying: “Husbands? They’re overrated. I’ve got something much more important. I have a job to do.”

Michelle Keegan has been a busy bee of late and now she’s added another project to her line-up of TV work – but this one is TOTALLY different to what we’re used to seeing Keegs in!

The actress – who is currently winning ace reviews for her performance in BBC drama Our Girl – has signed up for a one-off revival show of The Crystal Maze. As in the gloriously bonkers 1990s game show which saw contestants face challenges in a series of themed zones to collect crystals and win prizes.

This revival is all for a good cause though. Michelle, 29, will play the game alongside former footballer Rio Ferdinand, comedian Josh Widdicombe, DJ Sara Cox and Paralympic champion Jonnie Peacock in aid of Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer fundraiser.

The Office star Stephen Merchant will present the show, which is set to be broadcast next month.

It looks like the celebs filmed the special episode on Thursday though as Michelle hinted that she’d had a ball by retweeting a photo from the set…

Fans are pretty excited to see Keegs take on the challenge and many are hoping she managed to beat the clock in each zone.

‘Hope you didn’t get locked in Michelle,’ one Twitter user commented.

Another posted: ‘Michelle Keegan is enough of a reason to watch The Crystal Maze special later in the year’

Michelle hasn’t spoken about her latest project as of yet but we can’t wait to see how she gets on!
It’s certainly something VERY different for the actress, who has been racking up some impressive performances ever since she left Coronation Street in 2014.

After appearing in drama Ordinary Lies last year, 2016 has been very busy for Michelle and she’s been wowing viewers with her portrayal of army medic Georgie Lane in Our Girl.

The TV star has also been filming upcoming ITV series Tina And Bobby and even proved she’s got comedy chops earlier this year with roles in Plebs and Drunk History.

Who’d have thought we’d next be seeing her running around a maze trying to earn crystals, eh?

The 29-year-old former Corrie star has come onto the radar of movie bosses in South Africa, where the show was filmed.

Hollywood directors are eyeing up lady-of-the-moment Michelle Keegan, reports the Sunday People. It’s thanks to her storming performance in upcoming BBC drama Our Girl 2. Michelle, 29, has come on to the radar of movie bosses out in South Africa, where the show was filmed.

Her stunt co-ordinator on the series, which sees the actress takes on the role of army medic Georgie Lane, says her name has been buzzing around sets in Cape Town where they have been making Dark Tower with Idris Elba and Matthew McConnaughy and 24 Hours to Live with Ethan Hawke. Paul Pieterse said : “The Hollywood interest has all come out of her performance in Our Girl 2. She’s very good. Cape Town is a hub of new movies and people come here from the US to scour for new talent. There’s a lot of big money being spent here. Michelle has now shown her diversity in Our Girl 2. Can her looks and body match up to Hollywood’s women? Absolutely yes. Michelle is a belter, no two ways about that, and pictures don’t do her credit. She’s also very easy to work with, no a prima donna at all.”

It’s a busy time for former Coronation Street actress Michelle – who is married to former TOWIE star Mark Wright. After finishing filming Our Girl 2 she went straight into production for Tina and Bobby – in which she plays the first wife of famed footballer Bobby Moore. And Pieterse thinks the roles will continue to flood in. He told how he rates Michelle even higher than Charlize Theron – who he worked with on a movie. “I did The Last Face with Charlize Theron and I don’t rate her the same way I rate Michelle Keegan,” he said. “I think Charlize was very lucky, in the right place at the right time, and the same thing will apply to Michelle. If she gets the right part she’s going all the way.” Referring to an upcoming scene in Our Girl 2 in which Michelle is trapped in a tiny cage – Paul says she played the part with such conviction that she made him cry. And how he’s singing her praises to all the movie bosses he meets. “Emotion is one of the things that can make an actress and Michelle can switch it on and off and make us believe, and that’s what it’s about. I watched her at work for months and she was awesome. I’m working on 24 Hours to Live at the moment and I’ve told producers how I sobbed watching Michelle in her agonising scenes on Our Girl and how moved I was. These guys are fascinated to know about Michelle. I can tell you she’s a really big talent and a lot of people in this town are talking about her. We have 15 big foreign movies being made here over the past few months – big stars like Sean Penn, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron have all been here. Michelle’s going to make it big time, I am certain of it. Michelle for Hollywood, absolutely. No doubt she can make it there, the right part and she’s away. I am working with top Hollywood stars and Michelle’s of that calibre. I know good when I see it.”

Michelle is set to star in yet another much anticipated series, chronicling the life of legendary England captain Bobby Moore, in which she will play the sportsman’s wife, Tina.
ITV confirmed she will feature opposite 26-year-old actor Lorne MacFadyen – who is best to known to viewers from Grantchester – in a new drama series to be filmed in Manchester this summer.

After England won the World Cup in July 1966, the captain and his wife were catapulted to national fame and became the country’s original golden couple.
Tina And Bobby relates the story of the England and West Ham legend’s life with his childhood sweetheart from their humble beginnings to the heights of stardom.

Mark Wright’s wife will be joined on set by Holby City and Emmerdale’s Patsy Kensit, who will play Tina’s mother Betty and David Bamber, who takes on the role of England Manager Alf Ramsey.
The three episode drama is based on Tina’s memoir, Bobby Moore: By The Person Who Knew Him Best.

Growing up in Essex, Tina first met Bobby aged just 15 when he was 17 and four years later the couple married in June 1962.
Former West Ham and Manchester United full back Noel Cantwell was best man and other guests included football manager Malcolm Allison and the entire West Ham team.
In 1965 the footballing star was diagnosed with testicular cancer and his captaincy of the national side a mere year before the World Cup hung in the balance.

But, against all the odds, he fought his way back to fitness and led the England team to their first and only World Cup triumph.
ITV Studios executive producer, Kieran Roberts, said: ‘Most people will know the story of Bobby Moore’s achievements as captain of club and country – the only Englishman ever to lift the football World Cup.
‘Far fewer will know the story of his life with Tina – a love story every bit as dramatic and epic as Bobby’s exploits on the pitch.
‘We are delighted to be dramatising Tina and Bobby’s amazing story for ITV and, in Michelle and Lorne, we think we have the perfect casting of the golden couple and we are thrilled.’

If you’ve been missing Miss Keegan’s face gracing your TV screens since her departure from Coronation Street back in May, have no fear, the wait will soon be over! News broke this week about the new BBC One drama series, Ordinary Lies, which is set to air in 2015. Ordinary Lies is a six part series from the creative minds behind Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax, RED Production Company, and Shameless director Danny Brocklehurst. Filming for the show will start this week.

Michelle took to her HELLO! blog to share her excitement and give a little insight about what the project is all about. “It’s set in the offices of a motor showroom, and is about the little white lies that people tell and how they can spiral out of control. The writing is amazing (the series is written by Emmy and BAFTA winner Danny Brocklehurst) and there’s a fantastic cast including Mackenzie Crook, Max Beesley, Jason Manford and Sally Linsday. My character is called Tracey, but I can’t tell you anything else about her just yet, don’t want to give anything away! I’m honoured to be working with such a talented group of actors and can’t wait to start filming… Oh and another great thing about this job is that it’s being filmed in my home town of Manchester! Yep, it’s back up the M6 for me for a while…!”

According to Digital Spy, Michelle’s character Tracey works at the motor showroom as a receptionist, and is a wannabe WAG who dreams of a life of luxury. What do you think of Michelle’s new gig? 2015 can’t come soon enough!

After months of suspicion and a list of four motivated suspects, last night’s episode of Coronation Street finally revealed Tina McIntyre’s killer. A heated argument with Rob Donovan ended with Tina taking a tumble off the side of the balcony of the builder’s yard, her body landing motionless on the cobbles below. In the following episodes we’ll see an unconscious Tina in the hospital and her fate, although already determined by Keegan’s exit from the show, won’t become clear until next Monday. Though the aftermath of Tina’s death is sure to linger on screen even long after she’s gone. ITV shared a special look behind the scenes of the filming of Tina’s fall, which you can view below. Also added to the gallery is 9 new stills from past/future episodes.

Being whizzed around theme parks had never appealed to 26-year-old Corrie star Michelle – not least because big dippers were a big turn-off. So the Irlam-raised stunner was more surprised than anyone that her week-long stay with other half Mark Wright in Orlando ticked her ‘ideal holiday’ boxes.

From checking into a fab villa, to eating mega portions of hotdogs, burgers, fries and downing cocktails when the sun came down – not forgetting visiting those theme parks – it was holiday heaven for Michelle and former TOWIE star turned Heart FM DJ and TV presenter Mark.

“When I was younger I never really fancied Florida,” says Michelle.“For me the ideal holiday meant a beach and a pool – somewhere in the Med. People kept telling me Orlando was amazing and unbelievable but I took a bit of persuading!” Now Michelle is even thinking of returning later this year when her she leaves the cobbles in highly dramatic storylines to be screened late in the summer. Poor old feisty barmaid Tina Mcintyre is set to get killed off – much to the disappointment of Michelle’s legions of fans who have voted her sexiest soap female five times.

Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan has admitted that she wasn’t disappointed when she was told that her character on the soap – Tina McIntyre – was going to be killed off. Having decided to quit the soap last year, there was a lot of speculation about how Tina would leave the street. However, the speculation ended when Michelle revealed in an interview that her character was going to become the victim of murder. And now the actress has recalled how she felt when she was told that her character would be dying. Speaking to the Daily Star, Michelle who is engaged to former TOWIE star Mark Wright, said:

“When Stuart told me that Tina was going to be killed off I was surprised, not disappointed. Making my decision to leave was hard but in the back of my head I thought I might get the reassurance that one day I might be able to go back so it’s made it all final for me. But to have been given such a huge exit I quickly realised that it would be best to go out with a bang and I can’t wait as this storyline will be gripping.”

Confessing that she still doesn’t know who is going to kill Tina, Michelle continued to comment: “I have an idea who’s going to kill her but haven’t been told the full details yet. There are a few rumours flying around but I’ve got a meeting with Stuart coming up so I’m sure I’ll find out then.

“I’ve still got a few months left to film my exit and I’m really excited about what the future holds. Poor Tina has lost her way but she’s a good girl at heart. She’s struggling and she’s the one who’s going to end up getting hurt the most. But as we all know, the truth always comes out in the end.”

Meanwhile, the actress spoke of her chances of winning at the National Television Awards, insisting that her colleagues David Nelson and Julie Hesmondhalgh will win for Hayley’s cancer storyline. She said: “I don’t think I’m going to win it, not when you look at how David and Julie have played out their cancer storyline. There’s not been a dry eye in the room when either of them have come on screen. As long as someone from Corrie wins, that’s all I’m bothered about. I haven’t a clue what I’m going to wear yet, it’ll be all last minute as usual!”

Hello! First let me start off by saying, happy new year! Yes, I’m a bit late on that one and I want to apologize (again) for not being around. Over the past couple months I’ve come down with a bit if a.. medical issue. I’ve basically been on bed/couch arrest since the week of Christmas and neglecting to touch my laptop since, thus neglecting to update you guys on any and everything Michelle related. Which I truly feel terrible about. However, I’m hoping to be able to get the site and gallery as up to date as possible by this weekend, as well as looking into getting a new theme to add a bit of a fresh start due to the new year. I suggest y’all follow us on twitter (@michelleksource) if you want to be on top of any new updates.

Cast members of Coronation Street are seen at a photocall to mark the opening of the new set at Media City in Manchester. The set is a replica of the old one and is due to be fully working in 2014.

Michelle is sighted at the Coronation Street gate on November 28, 2013 in Manchester, England.

Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) is to throw herself at Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) in the coming weeks as she tries to make Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) jealous. But events take an unexpected turn when Carla (Alison King) catches Tina and Rob kissing passionately in the backyard of the Rovers. Marc Baylis reveals all.

“Rob’s bricking it,” says Baylis. “Not because of Carla – she seems to find the whole thing amusing and Rob trusts her not to tell Tracy. What he’s worried about is Carla going home and telling Peter, his enemy, who also happens to be his girlfriend’s brother! He’s really panicked.”

So does Carla actually want Rob to pursue Tina? “She does, yes. She thinks it would be a great idea for him and Tina to be together. Carla can imagine him with someone more like Tina, rather than Tracy, although that is probably just Carla’s wishful thinking. She does egg him on a bit.”

Of course, one major repercussion of the kiss becoming common knowledge would be Rob experiencing the wrath of Tracy, a woman not known for taking such matters lightly. “It’s not even worth thinking about,” laughs Baylis. “She’d kill him. I don’t know that he’s necessarily afraid of Tracy, but he knows she’s not one to mess around with. God knows what she’d do to him!”

And does Rob have any inkling about what was going on between Tina and Peter in the run-up to the wedding? “Absolutely not. I suppose looking back, there might have been a couple of things he might have picked up on, but then why would he? He’s got no reason to go looking for clues about the two of them. If Rob did find out, I don’t think Peter would be in a good place. Carla is Rob’s sister and he’s always been protective of her where Peter’s concerned.”

See the drama unfold from Wednesday 18 December.

Cheryl Cole is to visit the Rovers Return as part of a specially written scene for this year’s Text Santa appeal. Scriptwriters on the ITV soap have penned a storyline that will see the Girls Aloud star arriving in Weatherfield looking for childhood friend Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan). The pair are expecting to be traveling to Newcastle for Cheryl’s mum’s Christmas party – but, this being soapland, events don’t go entirely to plan.

The pop singer said of her cameo: “Coronation Street has always been a part of my life, we’d all watch it as kids every night. It’s surreal to be part of something I’ve watched my whole life. It’s great to be able to support six wonderful charities and I really hope that this year’s appeal makes a difference to many lives.”

The charity fundraiser – which airs on Friday 20 December at 8pm on ITV – will also feature stars from such shows as Downton Abbey and Britain’s Got Talent highlighting the work of 2013’s chosen charities. The cast of Corrie is also expected to feature in behind-the-scenes footage from their Fairytale in Weatherfield sketch – a special song featuring The Pogues’ Shane MacGowan that will be part of the Text Santa online Advent Calendar.

Michelle Keegan announces support for armed forces charity Help for Heroes. Help For Heroes is a UK based charity which offers practical, direct support for service persons, and veterans who have suffered life-changing injuries in service. Michelle said: “I am humbled to be able to “do my bit” to support the incredible work of Help for Heroes. I never fail to be amazed by the grit and determination of our armed forces and what they achieve both on and off the battlefield. Help for Heroes is one of those charities that really does make a real different to them and their families lives. I very much look forward to getting fully involved with the charity, meeting with some of our wounded serving personnel and veterans at Tedworth House and seeing for myself just what they have achieved and hopefully taking part in challenges and events to support them. I have nothing but huge respect and admiration for our military personnel.”

Bryn Parry, CEO and Co-Founder of Help for Heroes said: “It’s incredible to have such a high-profile person like Michelle supporting charity. We ask all of our supporters to “do their bit” and by having Michelle on board, we hope that she will help young people understand the incredible sacrifice that our brave men and women make on our behalf. We can’t thank her enough for her passion, kindness, support and commitment to helping heroes and look forward working with her to make their lives a little better.”

Coronation Street’s Michelle Keegan tells Soaplife that it will kill Tina if Peter goes ahead and marries Carla… What? Literally?

Tina’s feelings for Peter seem to have come on rather suddenly…
“They didn’t really notice each other til Tina’s feud with Tracy, but there was a definite attraction then. Whenever Tina’s near Peter she feels completely out of control and even though she knows it’s wrong because of Carla, who Tina likes, she can’t help herself.”

Peter Barlow is no stranger to romantic complications, so you’d have to be very naïve to think that the preparations for his nuptials to Carla (Alison King) were going to be plain sailing. With Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) showing an interest in a vulnerable Simon (Alex Bain) and Carla seemingly more preoccupied by wedding dresses, it isn’t long before Peter’s attention starts to wander. But what will be Tina’s reaction when Peter confesses his feelings for her? Actor Chris Gascoyne fills us in on the web that is Peter’s love life:

Coronation Street stars Michelle Keegan and Chris Gascoyne tell TV Times magazine about the growing attraction between Peter and Tina.

What are Peter and Tina’s feelings for one another?
Michelle: “Peter had never come on to Tina’s radar before, but suddenly, she feels completely out of control. She has never felt like this about anyone before. She didn’t really have a passionate relationship with Tommy, but she can see herself having one with Peter.”
Chris: “Peter is really lustful for Tina. I think he almost sees a younger Carla in her somewhere. He found it really exciting when she put up a fight against Tracy. He admired her spirit and started to see her in a different light.”

Max George was branded a cheat after being pictured with a mystery girl whilst dating Michelle Keegan – but has revealed that they actually split three months before revealing it to the public, and their relationship broke down because he was drinking too much. Max opened up about his past relationships to The Sun and said of his split from Michelle, “Michelle had ended our relationship three months before anyone knew. I had a real problem with drinking too much and that was, without doubt, the downfall of our relationship. It made me a different person, even if I didn’t think it at the time.”

“I can’t even remember some of the two years I was with her because I was getting drunk every night. I was drinking more to forget the fact I was with someone who wasn’t making me happy. A picture of me was published with some blonde girl in a club in Newcastle. I wasn’t with Michelle at the time – it was actually two months after we split up. We didn’t tell anyone because she wanted to be able to get over it without anyone interfering. There was no betrayal in terms of cheating – but I made some bad decisions.”

Hello all! First, I’d like to apologize for the lack of updates lately. I’m usually one to be right on top of things but I’ve found this to be more and more difficult recently. I love this site, it’s my baby, but I’m afraid my personal life has gotten in the way of things. And with that said, I’ll be taking a couple of weeks off for ‘me time’ while I sort some things out. I should however be back by the end of the month, and when I do I’ll be sure to do some massive site and gallery updates. So sorry for the inconvenience to those who check this site regularly for updates of Michelle, hopefully when I return I’ll be able to get myself back on track and keep this site as up-do-date as possible.

Michelle took part in the ‘Birds of a Feather’ campaign for Asda’s ‘Tickled Pink’ initiative, which aims to raise money for charities Breast Cancer Campaign and Breast Cancer Care. Diana Vickers, Alexandra Burke, Kara Tointon and TOWIE’s Lydia Bright are also apart of the campaign. The ladies were dressed in gowns by fashion designer and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Julien Macdonald, featuring gorgeous feathers, beading and embellishment.

Keegan said: “I want to encourage everyone to do their bit to help raise as much money as possible for Asda’s ‘Tickled Pink’ campaign, which supports the fantastic and vital work of charities Breast Cancer Campaign and Breast Cancer Care. I really enjoyed taking part in the campaign, which has already made a huge difference to women affected by breast cancer, and I hope that it inspires people across the UK to join in and buy a Tickled Pink product to help raise much-needed funds.”

The stars also modeled T-shirts from a special ‘Tickled Pink’ range available at George at a starting price of £6. £1 from each sale will go to Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Campaign.

According to FHM readers, there is no one more brilliant, sweat-inducing or trouser-shatteringly sexy than Corrie’s very own Michelle Keegan. To celebrate Michelle’s glorious and well-deserved victory, this month’s FHM is dedicated to the new queen of TV with pictures hot enough to fry eggs on and a few words from the winner herself. But that’s not all – FHM has also got a Sexy Telly Special featuring all your favourites to celebrate the fact that TV has never been so God damn hot. The brand new issue of FHM is out Thursday, October 3rd. But in the meantime you can check out the footage of Michelle’s FHM shoot (same as the one that came out earlier this year) including some never before seen shots, below.

‘Coronation Street’s Tina McIntyre will have a Christmas fling with Peter Barlow. The beautiful bar maid has been embroiled in an on/off relationship with Tommy Duckworth (Chris Fountain) and is now looking to set her sights on the soap’s lothario (Chris Gascoyne), who is engaged to factory boss Carla Connor (Alison King). A source told The Sun newspaper: “This is the kind of ratings-winning storyline the soap needs. What better way for Tina to get over Tommy than for her to get to grips with another fella? Michelle is excited by the scripts and is looking forward to filming them.”

Tina’s love life has been in the limelight in recent months as she and Tommy split after the brunette beauty agreed to be a surrogate mother for Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) and Gary Windass (Mikey North), but the pair rekindled their romance after the arrival of baby Jake. However after Chris Fountain recorded a vile rap which glorified rape the show’s producers were forced to continue without him and give his on-screen love a new storyline. Michelle, who joined the ITV soap in 2008, is leaving the show next year.

The beauty, who plays brassy barmaid Tina McIntyre in the soap, is planning a pie and mash party. Sexy Michelle, 26, is moving 250 miles to set up home with boyfriend and former TOWIE star Mark Wright when she leaves Weatherfield in May. But she has already started drawing up a list of ideas for her leaving do – and is determined to introduce her Manchester-based co-stars to proper East End nosh.

One cast colleague confided: “She keeps banging on about all this food that we’ve heard about but have never tried. I think most of us will be able to cope with pie and mash quite easily, but it’s the other bits and bobs which sound a bit worrying. Most of us here have never tried cockles or jellied eels so it’s going to be an interesting experience.”

Michelle insists her decision to quit the famous cobbles after six years does not have anything to do with dating 26-year-old Mark, who was the runner-up in the 2011 series of I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here! “I didn’t decide to leave because of Mark. I’d actually been thinking about leaving on and off for a couple of years,” said Stockport-born Michelle. Corrie chiefs are leaving the door open for Michelle to return to the Street.

Tina is headed down a self-destructive path next week when she bottles up her emotions as baby Jake’s homecoming is held at the Rovers. After losing her cool, Tina has a vicious row with a mocking Tracy Barlow before heading off into the night. In an interview with Radio Times, Michelle reveals what’s in store as Tina’s evening goes from bad to worse.

So, Michelle, how hard do you think it was for Tina to give up baby Jake?
It was the hardest thing she’s ever had to do, but she’d finally come to a point where she knew she had to give him back to Izzy and Gary. She knew she was doing the right thing at that point, no matter how hard she knew it would be.

Will she always feel like Jake’s mum?
I don’t know whether she’ll feel like his mum for the rest of her life, but I do think Tina will always have a connection with Jake. There’s certainly a special bond that she feels she has with him that nobody else can understand.

Michelle was spotted on a park bench in Manchester, filming scenes for Coronation Street yesterday. Spoilers for the show reveal that Tina takes to booze following the loss of her baby.

Michelle has teased her many admirers with the admission that she wouldn’t rule out getting naked for an acting role – or even Playboy. But the ‘Coronation Street’ star says there’s one thing holding her back – her dad.

When she was asked if she’d ever strip for a role by The Mirror, she said: “I don’t know if I could because my dad might watch it, but if it was a good role, I might. The thought scares me, but if it’s not too graphic, I’d do it.”

And she also revealed she’d still consider posing in the buff for Playboy – as long as it was tasteful. “When I first started on Corrie, I’d have said yes to Playboy.” she admitted. “And now? Never say never, and it can look classy, but it’s the whole thing of sitting there thinking, ‘I’m actually naked’.”

But for now at least, it seems Michelle is keeping everything under wraps for her boyfriend, former ‘TOWIE’ star, Mark Wright, although she’s not about to admit if he’s ‘the one’.

Michelle is hoping to land a part on hit crime drama series Broadchurch. Producers are holding auditions for the new series and the actress, 26, wants in. An insider told Daily Star: “Michelle is keen for a gritty drama when she quits Coronation Street. Broadchurch is a top show. It has a huge audience and would allow her to play a more serious role. It’s likely she’ll get it as it’s on ITV and they don’t want to lose her when she leaves Corrie.”

She may have just picked up her fifth British Soap Award for Sexiest Female but Michelle Keegan thinks that there’ll be a reassessment once viewers witness Tina McIntyre give birth. “Sexiest female? Viewers will change their mind once they see these scenes. Definitely!” In next week’s episodes, the surrogate mum goes into labour on the same day as the newly refurbished Rovers reopens. The baby isn’t due for another two months, but this isn’t the only bit of bad timing: there’s also the problem of Izzy (Cherylee Houston) having just found out about the pass that Gary (Mikey North) made at Tina:

“Gary thinks that Tina’s going to tell someone that he came on to her, so he asks her to meet him in the backyard of the Rovers so he can have a word,” explains Keegan. “Izzy’s suspicious so she follows them and overhears Tina saying something about his ‘dirty little secret’. So Izzy confronts Gary and Tina basically blurts out the truth because she’s had enough. And that’s how Izzy finds out.” Read the full article.

Even though she often proudly frames her assets in some swimwear and shows off her impressively flat stomach on the beach while on holiday, the star, 25, admits she cringed when she heard she was awarded Cleavage Of The Year by The Sun earlier this year. She told new! magazine: “It was a bit embarrassing. It is also flattering. The thing is, I don’t wear tops that show them off much… Mum laughed and said, ‘You don’t get that from me, girl.’ [My parents] think it’s funny and Mum jokes about it a lot.”

And the star, who admits she doesn’t understand the reasons why she’s seen as a sex symbol by many, claims she doesn’t watch her diet like some sort of health hawk despite having an enviable figure. She said: “I tend to go through stages of eating rubbish, and then other times I eat very healthily… It’s weird with me. A few months ago, I put on weight without knowing it. I think it was because I wasn’t going to the gym. I started going out more and I think, as you get older, you have to watch what you eat more. You have to keep on top of it.”

Meanwhile, Michelle claims she has chosen not to talk about her romance with Mark Wright as they both want to keep their lives private which is strange considering Mark put himself through a number of seasons of TOWIE, laid himself bare for a stint in the I’m A Celeb jungle and likes to pose in his underwear. And although Michelle is happy with Mark, she doesn’t see herself starting a family any time soon. When asked if she’d like children, she said: “Oh goodness, not now! I’m waiting, especially as I know that when a real baby does come along, it’ll be hard work.” Read the full story in this week’s new! magazine – out today.

Coronation Street’s Tina McIntyre will leave Gary Windass and Izzy Armstrong devastated when she refuses to hand over their baby. Tina’s decision will send shock waves through Weatherfield and divide several of the street residents. Tina (Michelle Keegan) is currently carrying a baby for Gary (Mikey North) and Izzy (Cherylee Houston). However, after Tina gives birth early in the Rovers Return, she decides to keep him for herself.

In scenes to be aired next month Tina tells them the baby – who she decides to name Joe after her dad – is hers and she will never hand him over. Tina’s friend Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox) will even offer to come up with the cash to repay Izzy’s dad Owen for the money he paid Tina to be a surrogate. The new mom will face a backlash from the Windass clan and will even be thrown out of her flat, which is paid for by Owen. Desperate to keep her baby, Tina will threaten court action and supportive Rita reportedly offers to pay her fees.

Dad-to-be Gary Windass is to make a massive error of judgement in next week’s episodes when he makes an unwelcome move on Tina McIntyre. After attending an army reunion where his mates accuse of him of fancying Tina, an emotional Gary ends up calling at her flat and trying to kiss her. So how does Tina react?

“She goes mad. She really kicks off. Big style,” says actor Mikey North, who plays Gary. “I think she saw it coming because when he gets there he’s acting very strange and saying some weird things to her, which makes her feel uncomfortable. So when it comes, she’s almost ready for it and she won’t let him out of the house until he explains what’s going on.” Read the full article here.

Michelle has taken the number 4 spot on this years FHM 100 Sexiest Women In The World list, moving up a whopping 22 spots from last year. She comes in just behind Helen Flanagan (and personally we think she was robbed for Sexiest Woman in the UK), Rihanna and Sexiest Woman In The World, Mila Kunis.

Michelle Keegan will leave Coronation Street in 2014, after six years of playing Tina McIntyre. Michelle will be on screen for a further 12 months until late spring of next year. Work will begin in the next few weeks on devising an exit storyline for her character. The next 12 months promises to be an exciting one for the character of Tina McIntyre starting next month with the dramatic early birth of the surrogate child she is carrying.

Coronation Street Producer Stuart Blackburn said: ’’There is more than a year of drama to come for Tina McIntyre before we bid farewell to Michelle and plans are already being made for what will be a powerful and gripping story. We will be sorry to see Michelle go but wish her every success for the future.”

You can read more about her departure at the official Coronation Street website.

Michelle Keegan has thrown Coronation Street schedules into chaos after being struck down with a mystery virus. The 25-year-old, who plays Tina McIntyre, was seen on set yesterday with her head in her hands looking distressed, before being sent home sick. She has now been signed off work for the rest of the week, meaning scriptwriters have to work around her and try to draw up a new schedule for scenes.

A show source said: “Michelle’s illness is really bad news. We have been doing scenes in the new Rovers Return and other smaller stuff with Michelle but now we have grown to a halt on her storyline. We are desperately trying to move things around and get other actors in at the last minute so we don’t waste time.”

A spokesman for Corrie confirmed Michelle was off work at the moment. They added: “She had a virus and saw a doctor who sent her home. It is nothing too serious, we are hopeful she will be back on set next week.”

CORONATION STREET barmaid Tina McIntyre’s life is about to get even more complicated – as dad-to-be Gary Windass starts to fall in love with her. Gorgeous Tina is almost six months’ pregnant as a surrogate mum for Gary and his disabled girlfriend Izzy Armstrong — but grows worryingly close to Gary after she arrives back from her latest baby scan to discover her flat has been burgled.

Single Tina, played by Michelle Keegan, has also lost her job thanks to Karl Munro burning down the Rovers Return, so is doubly vulnerable. But Gary (Mikey North) becomes her hero when he offers to stay over to protect her flat and arranges some extra secretarial shifts for her at the builders’ yard where he works. With Tina’s baby hormones making her more emotional than normal, and Gary’s obsessive nature, fans will wonder what their relationship means for poor Izzy (Cherylee Houston).

Actress Michelle revealed Tina misses all the warning signs about Gary’s feelings. She says: “Tina is a bit confused over why Gary offers to help her out. But as soon as he says it was Izzy’s idea she accepts it. She sees it as them both looking out for her. But then she realises it’s more complex. Michelle says: “Obviously she’s carrying Gary’s baby for him and Izzy — and he’s beginning to get confused, feeling things for Tina that shouldn’t really be there.”

The break-in leaves Tina needing a shoulder to cry on, especially after she discovers the thieves took her beloved late father’s ring. Michelle says: “Tina is confused as to why the ring was stolen and who’s done it. She’s very upset about it — that’s what she’s most upset about, not the damage to the flat. She calls the police straight away but is quite scared because she lives on her own.”

Gary and Izzy’s IVF baby is due this summer and Tina has tried not to get too emotionally involved — not even looking at the results of her hospital scan. Michelle says: “She wants to stay detached, which is why she doesn’t really look at the scan on the computer screen. She wants Gary and Izzy to share the moment as a couple. She’s doing this for them and doesn’t want to grow attached to the baby.”

For now, Tina is prepared to give up the child as soon as it is born and go back to life as usual. But Michelle fears her screen character is kidding herself. She says: “Tina thinks it’s all going to be fine, that it is just a business arrangement. She knows it’s not her baby and thinks she knows what she has to do — that she’s not confused by the emotions one bit. But maybe she hasn’t thought far enough down the line.”

The surrogacy is Corrie’s biggest upcoming storyline and, if Gary’s feelings for Tina are ever reciprocated, this could be Weatherfield’s most explosive love affair, with devastating consequences which would play out for years to come.

Michelle’s male fans, who have voted her sexiest soap siren four years in a row, may be unused to seeing her wearing a baby bump and slobbing around in maternity clobber. But Michelle — who is dating hunky TV host Mark Wright — is loving it.

She says: “The best thing about wearing the bump is it keeps me warm in the cold weather. I’ve also been quite a broody person so it’s nice to have the bump and to wear maternity clothes. It’s quite cute. But it makes it quite awkward to go to the toilet and takes longer to get changed in the morning.” Meanwhile, Michelle has already started researching the birth scenes. She says: “I’m quite excited about filming them. I watch One Born Every Minute quite a lot so am looking forward to it.”

In another hint about the ITV soap’s plans for Gary and Tina, Michelle says: “I am looking forward to working with a baby. Obviously, I work with little Ruby — Tyrone’s baby — quite a lot and I really enjoy that. I love kids so am quite excited about it. The only thing is, you can’t control babies on set so if I’m doing a scene where I’m worried about my lines it could be tricky. Other than that, I’m well up for it!”

Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan has warned that her character Tina McIntyre may not be looking at the “big picture” when it comes to her surrogacy deal. Tina is currently carrying a baby for Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston), but the arrangement has been progressing without any major dramas in recent months.

Keegan has now told itv.com that while Tina has “no fears” about giving up the baby, she may not be fully prepared for how she will feel when the child arrives. She commented: “The surrogacy is running very smoothly. She’s going through it on her own, but her and Tommy are back to being friends now, and she’s very close to the Windasses/Armstrongs so everything’s going to plan. She’s had no fears – she thinks it’s going to be fine. It’s a business arrangement for Tina – she knows it’s not her baby and she knows what she has to do. She’s not confused by the emotions one bit… but maybe she hasn’t thought far enough down the line.”

Asked how Tina would feel about living so close to the child she carried, the actress replied: “I think she’s got her head round that – she knows she’ll be living on the same street as the baby, but at the same time, at the moment she’s just taking every day as it comes. Maybe she hasn’t put enough thought into it, as the only reason she got into this was to pay off Tommy’s debts. Maybe she hasn’t looked at the big picture yet.”

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Gary will soon become “confused” over his feelings for Tina. Viewers get their first glimpse of this next week when Gary urges Owen to give Tina some more hours at the builder’s yard now that she isn’t earning at the burnt-out Rovers. Later in the week, Gary is on hand to support Tina once again after her flat is broken into. Taking on board an idea from Izzy, Gary agrees to stay over at Tina’s place to protect her in case the thief returns.

Keegan said of the break-in: “She’s very confused as to why it’s happened and who’s done it. Straight away she calls the police. She’s quite scared because she lives on her own and obviously she’s upset that they’ve taken her dad’s ring. That’s what she’s most upset about, not the damage to the flat. She’s a bit confused as to why Gary would offer [to stay with her], but as soon as he says it was Izzy’s idea, she accepts it’s fine. She sees it as them both just looking out for her.”
